THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE INTERNATIONAL PRINCIPLES OF EQUALITY AND SELF-DETERMINATION OF THE PEOPLE, TERRITORIAL INTEGRITY AND NON-INTERFERENCE TO INTERNAL AFFAIRS OF THE STATES IN THE MODERN WORLD

Abstract

In article the problem of realization of the principles of international law is considered: equality and self-determination of the people, territorial integrity and non-interference to internal affairs of the states. The article aims to analyze the changes in international law and legal norms in accordance with the geopolitical environment. The authors summarize that international law is changing: the principle of territorial integrity gets precedence over the principle of self-determination. A shift in priorities has become one of the causes of secession proliferating conflicts in the global system of relations between States and peoples.
