ESSENCE, GOALS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE PROSECUTOR'S SURVEILLANCE ON COMPLIANCE WITH THE LAWS ON MINORS

Abstract

Protecting the rights and legitimate interests of minors, as one of the most socially vulnerable groups of the population, is one of the priority areas of the human rights activities of the prosecutor's office. Prosecutorial supervision of the implementation of laws on minors and youth is an independent, specific area of activity of prosecution authorities, relates to supervision of the enforcement of laws in cross-cutting areas and is designed to ensure the effective implementation of legislation on the protection of the rights and legitimate interests of minors and youth, and the suppression and prevention of juvenile delinquency. This article defines the essence, considers the goals and objectives of the supervision of compliance with laws on minors.
