The current issues of the formation of the composition of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation related to the reduction in the number of judges after the introduction in 2020 of the well-known amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation and the corresponding amendments to the Federal Constitutional Law "On the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation" are analyzed. The problematic aspects of the nomination and appointment of candidates for judicial positions are considered. The proposals to lift the age restriction for all judges of the Constitutional Court are substantiated.Downloads
