THE GENDER ASPECT OF AUTHORITY RELATIONS: FROM ASYMMETRY TO AUTHENTICITY

Abstract

The author concludes from categories “domination” and “influence” as basic chategories of “power”. From this position fundamental gender attributes in power relations are singled out: “female power” gravitates to influence, “male power” to domineering. The author meditates on the optimal combination of domineering and influence in modern power, which is achieved among other means by the gender aspect of staff policy.
