FORMATION OF LEGAL STATUS OF THE MODERN RUSSIAN COSSACKS DURING THE POST-REFORM PERIOD OF THE RUSSIAN SOCIETY (ON THE EXAMPLE OF THE ARMY COSSACK SOCIETY "GREAT ARMY DON")

Abstract

In article historical features of formation of legal status of the Russian Cossacks, from the initial stages of revival of the Cossacks, fallen on a difficult transition period of development of the Russian statehood are considered. In a context of common problems of modern process of revival of the Cossacks regularities of de-velopment of legal status of army Cossack societies, on the example of the army Cossack society "Great Army Don" are analyzed.
