INSTITUTE OF INHERITANCE IN THE CUSTOMARY LAW OF THE DON COSSACKS

Abstract

Inheritance Institute acts as a part of customary law in the traditional society. The customary law of don Cossacks is no exception. At the same time, the Cossacks existed specifics in the organization of hereditary relations. This fact proves the existence of socio-cultural peculiarities of inheritance based on the traditions and customs. The specifics of the Institute of inheritance at the don Cossacks were determined by special legal regulations.
