Abstract

In article the topical issues of verifying reports of crime are considered in the context of the changes made to Article 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation. The authors analyze the new provisions of the Code governing the procedural means of pre-investigation and the practice of its application by bodies of the investigation of the North Caucasus and Southern federal districts
