LEGAL MAINTENANCE DIVISION OF THE LAND DURING THE FORMATION OF THE RUSSIAN EMPIRE

Abstract

The article is devoted to the identification of the basic principles of land-distribution policies of the Russian state, to determine the content of land ownership in Russia. The study's authors believe that limiting the search of contemporary issues of private ownership of land in Russia, only disadvantages of regulatory support of this institution is wrong. Analyzing the evolution of the Russian law on the division of the land, the authors concluded that the basic principles defined by the state approaches to the distribution of land remain relevant today.
