Abstract

The article presents the results of the integration of Karachay in the Russian Empire. The author reveals during the research the experience of relations between the Russian state and one of its national borders Karachay. The relevance of the study due to the unflagging interest of researchers to the problem. The author comes to the conclusion that the integration of Karachay in the Russian Empire is a complex phenomenon that fundamentally transformed the life of karachayans
