Abstract

This article attempts to linguistic reconstruction of the legal term «khelaho» is used to refer to the Chechens the ofce of judge. The author, based on some of the models and the preconditions put forward the hypothesis of a more ancient concept of the judge «muoncha» preserved in the lexicon of the Nakh and adopt over time the value of a common noun.
