Abstract

The author analyzes the current legislation on the protection of citizens' rights to health care. The article discusses the most effective ways in practice to restore the violated rights of citizens as patients receiving health service, and it is concluded that in fact the judicial way to restore the patients’ rights is the most effective. However, nowadays a complete legal framework has not been formed yet to implement the guarantees. Thus, due to the lack of (direct) legal norms that reinforce the possibility of protection of health rights, there is a large gap in the legal regulation of this sphere, which weakens its efciency, in the author's opinion.
