INSTITUTE OF WITNESS IMMUNITY IN CRIMINAL TRIAL OF RUSSIA

Abstract

The paper discusses current and important issues arising reforming the criminal procedural law, which has created some difculties in law enforcement, including the implementation of the rules providing for a special procedure in criminal cases in relation to certain categories of persons and the institution of witness immunity. This is partly contradictory, sometimes badly worded provisions of the law are not always consistent implementation of the tasks of the judicial reform.
