Abstract

The article presents the results of a comprehensive study of problems of interpretation, typology and legal regulation of state-confessional relations in modern Russia. From positions of the theory of law and constitutional law considered relevant approaches to the denition and typology of this type of relationship in the state and society, carried out their relationship with the current organizational and legal model of a secular state in the Russian Federation, proposed forms and directions of its optimization; in the aspect of legal regulation of state-confessional relations in modern Russia determined its general and specic (current) trends identied legal issues and identify areas of their solutions.
