Abstract

This article presents the analysis and evaluation of the functioning of the Institute of deferment of punishment as the main instrument of liberalization and humanization of the modern criminal policy of Russia from the moment of conception to the current state. In addition, have been defines the essence of this legal phenomenon. The dynamics of the penal measures in the form of deferred sentence. Developed a system of methodological principles, approaches for improving the efficiency of functioning of Institute of grace in Criminal law.
