Abstract

The article states the lack of legal differentiation principles consolidation of jurisdiction and powers between the public authorities of the Russian Federation and the public authorities of subordinate entities of the Russian Federation as a whole and in the sphere of electoral relations. It is noted that this contributed to the capture of the huge areas of electoral relations regulation at all electoral levels by the Federal legislator. According to the author of the article, this approach to electoral relations regulation is outdated and incorrect.
