Abstract

The article touches upon the constitutional grounds for securing independence of the judicial power. It also introduces the formation system of Supreme Judicial Council and its competences. And it proves the attitude that competences that are not derived from the constitutional status have been stipulated for the Supreme Judicial Council by the Constitutional Law of RA (Judicial Legislation of RA), which may lead to improper realization of its functions.
