CRIMINAL RECORDS AND THEIR APPLICATION IN INVESTIGATION AND SOLUTION OF CRIMES

Abstract

This article sets out the existing system of criminal records and emphasizes their components. The author has studied the issue of discussion in relation to the subject of criminal records, reviewed the opinions of different authors and made a conclusion on what should be considered as an object of criminal records and what requirements the information reflected in these information bases should meet. The issue of impact of using these criminal records on the process of investigation and solution of crimes has been reviewed, the areas of concern in using these records at different levels (federal, regional, local) have been studied and the relevant recommendations have been given based on theoretical and hands-on experience.
