Abstract

The scientific article revealed the legal and technical flaws in the legal basis of the institution of public control in human rights activities. Based on the results of the study conducted by the author, proposals were developed regarding changes to the legislation on public control. The conclusions formulated by the author are of great practical importance, since they do not significantly expand the legal boundaries of the legalization of the latest phenomenon of the Russian legal system the institution of public control in human rights activities, as an integral element of public control of civil society, increasing its importance.
