This article is the first in a planned series of articles on judicial law-making in the context of the Anglo-Saxon legal tradition. This topic is of particular interest to the domestic legal science, which was formed and developed in the conditions of the Romano-German legal family - completely different from the Anglo-Saxon one. Using English-language sources, the author notes the inextricable connection of judicial law-making and common law in general. The author also made attempts to explain judicial lawmaking from a historical, legal and legal doctrinal perspective.Downloads
