SOME PROBLEMS OF THE ORGANIZATION AND ACTIVITY PROSECUTORIAL OFFICES AT THE PRESENT STAGE

Abstract

The article discusses the issue of the place of the prosecutor's office in the state mechanism, its function in the system of “checks and balances”, in the protection of human and civil rights and freedoms, and the appointment of the prosecutor’s office in general. It is proposed to amend certain legislative acts with the aim of clearly defining the status of the prosecutor's office of the Russian Federation as an independent distinctive state body with an indication of its specific powers and the boundaries of cooperation between prosecutorial bodies and public authorities of the Russian Federation.
